A 1 day workshop focused on how to use The Sexuality Road resource for teaching sexuality and pubertal change to young people from years 5-8.
Family Planning’s latest resource, The Sexuality Road – Discovering Me, is a programme aimed at years 5-8 primary school students. Created as a full programme containing all session outlines, activities and worksheets including ready-to- make resource templates, teacher tips and background information. The aim of the resource is to provide schools with a comprehensive Y5-Y8 programme that teachers can deliver to their students.
Discovering Me covers Changing Bodies and Feelings, Relationships, Decision making, Reproduction, Safer Sex and Support systems. Each topic is built on throughout the 4 year programme to ensure that students cover issues relevant to them at an appropriate age.
